Take charge as our Packaging & Distribution Team Leader

Here’s the role

Be responsible for the packaging and distribution of Harrington’s butchery and smallgoods products. You’ll work to make sure that all consignments are dispatched from the factory, on time. To do this, you’ll lead a small Packaging & Distribution team who work with casual staff when required. Attending team meetings and performing general administrative tasks, as and when needed, is all part of the job. Health and safety is a top priority for Harrington’s, so you’ll be actively participating in monitoring and ensuring full adherence to our health and safety policies, systems, and safe working practices. This is a collaborative role and you’ll be working closely with our team members and partners, including:

• Production Team Leader
• Production & Financial Administrator
• Sales Representative
• Packaging & Distribution Team Staff
• Distribution Partners.

You’ll need team leadership and administration skills

• Lead casual staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Keep the Production Administration Manager informed about workflow priorities
• Coordinate team members to manage individual workloads
• Assist the Production Team Leader and Product Admin Manager with administrative tasks
• Process invoices and other dispatch-related paperwork
• Produce consignment sheets for distribution partners
• Attend company meetings and follow up on action items promptly.

Take the lead on health and Safety:

• Lead by example, demonstrating best health and safety practices
• Ensure food safety policies are followed and report any concerns
• Recognise and encourage health and safety improvements and innovations.
